MINISTRIES

In this section you will find information about the ministries in our church.

Women´s Society

It is the ministry dedicated to women. Its purpose is the spiritual growth of each of its members.

 

Throughout the year we have a program with different guest speakers as well as a variety of activities: crafts, trips, and special events.

We gather the first Friday each month at 3:00 p.m.(*) eager to learn from the gospel together and encourage our friendship as sister in Christ. Thanks to God, our group is very special, but you are missing. We hope you can join us! See you there!

Prayer Group

Prayer in our church is exercised in three basic ways: A group of believers meets each Tuesday in the evening to pray for known prayer needs, a prayer chain is activated to pray for emergency situations as appropriate; and finally, during the Sunday morning service, a time of prayer is incorporated in which those present can be prayed for.

This group is composed of church members who meet on tuesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. (*) to pray for people who are going through hard times. If you want to send to the group a prayer request, please click on the button: "Prayer Request" and fill in the form. It will be a blessing to pray for you. We ask God to guide you in His will today. 

*This meeting is being held virtually through Zoom.

Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry develops activities for the youth of the congregation between the ages of 12 and 18.
 
Saturday activities include Bible teaching, games, prayer, worship, and fellowship. This ministry is always present at special events for the congregation, supporting youth involvement with decoration, developing the program and other services.

The meeting is held the second and fourth saturday each month at 3:00 p.m. at church.

Christian Education

The Christian Education Ministry coordinates that which is related to Bible teaching, with emphasis on the Sunday-morning services.
 
It develops training activities for each of the facilitators and assistants, supervises the quality of the teaching, reviews and recommends reading and teaching material.

There is Sunday School every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. For the time being, Videos are being uploaded to the church´s Youtube channel every Sunday with teachings for the kids. Teenagers, and young adults connect into a virtual class with their teacher or get a video as well. 

Marriage Ministry

The objective of this ministry is to get the church´s marriages together to share different topics focusing on the couple´s bond, and therefore in the family as christian and biblical foundation.
​
During the meetings the couples share activities to get to know each other, and bond as members of the church who share a common end: "marriage". 
​
Today there are many elements that go against and attack marriage. We feel the necessity to support and strengthen the church´s marriages with Bible instruction about themes of interest.
​
We also celebrate anniversaries, pray for each other, and share a snack merrily in an environment filled with Christian brotherhood.
​
This meeting takes place the third Friday of each month at 7:00 p.m. (*) Please join us!

Music & Multimedia

This ministry directs the congregation during times of worship during Sunday Services as well as in special events.
 
It proclaims God as the only One worthy of praise and worship, and worships Him in recognition of who He is and what He has done to redeem us.

The music group rehearses on the first and third Saturday every month.(*)
​
The multimedia team is in charge of the preparation of multimedia for the Sunday´s Service program as well as the creation of social graphics and videos for the social networks of our church.
​
This ministry aims to teach and prepare new generations to serve God through music and multimedia by offering music lessons and guidance in the use of multimedia tools.  

Missions

This ministry has the responsibility of sharing information relevant to missions, guiding prayer for missionaries on the field, stimulating economic support for them, and coordinating visits of missionaries to our church at appropriate times to interact with them  in various ways.
​
Right now, our church is supporting family Vargas González who are translating the Bible into Molata in Papùa Nueva Guinea.
​
